Top Coat provides a clear protective layer to seal the Nail Lacquer color and make the manicure more resistant to chipping and peeling. Upon application of Top Coat, the nail becomes more resistant to damage from bumps and normal fingernail use. To make the manicure last longer, Top Coat may be applied every day.

Top Coat should appear clear in the bottle. If it is colored in any way, it may have been applied to Nail Lacquer that had not adequately dried, which can transfer pigment from the Nail Lacquer into the Top Coat bottle.
