The Buff Bar provides a means of gentle, effective mechanical exfoliation. It was originally designed for physicians to use in treating calluses (hyperkeratoses). It is a polyurethane foam bar containing approximately 1% very fine pumice powder. The Bar conforms to the body during use, increasing contact area and, therefore, effectiveness. As the Buff Bar is used, it sloughs off its outer layer, leaving a fresh, new surface for the next use. The Buff Bar was designed to be used with Crème de Vuée and water, as in the shower or bath. Apply Cuticle Softener to the callused area and soak to prepare the skin for exfoliation.
As with any exfoliation procedure, make sure you protect the newly exposed skin with moisturizing lotion.
